Estimate the number of wallpaper rolls you need using the actual roll dimensions and pattern repeat printed on the product label.
The calculator first determines the total wall width to cover and divides it by the roll width to find the number of vertical drops.
Each drop is based on wall height plus trim, then adjusted upward where necessary so the pattern can align. PlanCalq calculates how many complete drops fit on one roll and rounds the required roll count up.

The usable drop can be longer than the wall once trim and pattern matching are added. The calculator also needs enough full drops to fit within each roll.
An extra roll can be useful for complex patterns, installation mistakes or future repairs, especially when the same batch may be difficult to source later.
